Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods within Indianapolis metropolitan area
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations with warehouse team members
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents immediately
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) in Indiana
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and hazardous materials handling (if applicable)
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends based on delivery schedule
