Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in local routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain necessary signatures.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during deliveries.
- Adhere to all local and federal DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and paperwork.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
