Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
- Load and unload cargo with assistance from team members when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to provide updates on shipment status.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
- Physical ability to load and unload cargo as needed.
