Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/vans) for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision using proper equipment
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Omaha metro area and regional highways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
