Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) on regional routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service, and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and pre/post-trip inspections
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient loading/unloading and route adjustments
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading and delivery documentation
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with ELD systems
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays and weekend shifts
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
