Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks across Illinois and regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients for seamless deliveries
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs promptly
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid US driver's license (Class A CDL training provided)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3+ years)
- Pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Basic math skills for trip planning and weight distribution
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
