Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across North Carolina routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Complete mandatory safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- No prior CDL experience required (training provided)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Basic math skills for trip planning and documentation
