Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for load verification and documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights/weekends
- No prior trucking experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
