Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs per DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through company-sponsored training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Flexibility for irregular hours and overnight travel
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- No prior CDL experience required - we train!
