Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely and efficiently at delivery sites.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (or be willing to obtain one).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT medical card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
