Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual labor, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and third-party vendors.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
- Ability to work flexible shifts as needed.
