Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo securely and verify delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding shipments
- Complete training requirements to obtain Class A CDL license
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B driver's license or permit (training provided)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight documentation and route planning
