Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on designated routes throughout New York State.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Represent the company professionally at all times while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to complete our comprehensive paid training program.
- Basic math skills for toll calculations and cargo manifesting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
