Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Deliver freight to customers in a timely manner while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and cargo condition.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and a background check.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and maintain a flexible schedule.
