Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently throughout the Los Angeles area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and vehicle safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Must Hold a Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). (Experience is not required, but a clean driving record is mandatory).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and Social Security Card.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
