Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate lifting equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip sheets, and daily paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery details.
- Keep the truck clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging purposes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
