Responsibilities
- Safe Vehicle Operation: Drive commercial trucks (Class A or B) on assigned routes, ensuring safe and timely delivery of cargo.
- Rigorous Inspections: Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Cargo Securement: Properly load, secure, and unload freight while adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery and pickup locations.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL: Must hold a current Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B).
- No Experience Necessary: We offer training for new drivers; prior driving experience is a plus but not required.
- Clean Record: Must have a satisfactory driving record and be eligible to work in the United States.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam, including vision and hearing tests.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
