Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) to comply with Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate commerce.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic English proficiency for communication purposes.
