Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated destinations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) for hours of service reporting.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Class A preferred).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record and pass background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
