Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Tennessee and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate driving logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with attention to detail and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL (paid training provided)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and delivery documentation
- Physical ability to climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and sit for extended periods
