Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Perform DOT-mandated pre/post-trip inspections and electronic logging
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques (no touch freight available)
- Maintain precise delivery schedules and real-time GPS communication
- Adhere to HOS regulations and Texas state transport laws
- Complete accurate paperwork and delivery documentation
- Participate in quarterly safety certifications and equipment training
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (Class B considered for specific routes)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with cargo securement standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement (paid training provided)
- Must be 21+ years of age
