Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within Baltimore metro area and regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route management
- Represent Baltimore Freight Solutions professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience OR willingness to complete paid training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background check
- Basic knowledge of Baltimore metro area geography
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
