Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and compliance documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the truck and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or a willingness to obtain one through our paid training program.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report potential vehicle issues.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- U.S. Citizenship or legal right to work in the United States.
