Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks, tankers, or flatbeds) across designated routes
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates or delays
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A/B preferred, not required)
- No prior CDL experience necessary (training provided)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and logs
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
