Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated trailers) following DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) OR ability to obtain within 30 days
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed
