Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across NYC and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when required
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Driver's License
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Basic knowledge of NYC traffic patterns
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- No CDL experience required - training provided
