Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout Milwaukee and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment familiarization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or commitment to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work independently while following company guidelines
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends as needed
