Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles while adhering to FMCSA regulations
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Transport goods efficiently across Virginia and regional routes
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device records
- Collaborate with dispatch for timely deliveries and route adjustments
- Represent Swift Logistics with professional conduct and customer service
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance programs
Qualifications
- Valid non-CDL driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb vehicle steps
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed
