Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (required at hire)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery verification and inventory management
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required
