Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Transport goods across Florida and neighboring states with punctual deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Adapt to varying traffic conditions and route changes efficiently
- Adhere to all company policies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) or commitment to obtain through our training program
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
