Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) across Virginia and surrounding states
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure safety compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and follow defensive driving protocols
- Complete required paperwork and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving history
- Ability to obtain CDL Class A permit (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to travel overnight (home weekly)
- Must be 21+ years old
