Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks, vans) for local/regional deliveries
- Pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Complete on-the-job training modules to develop driving expertise
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent
