Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Minnesota and surrounding regions
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and securement protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (or willingness to obtain)
- No prior driving experience required - we provide full training
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Clean background check with no major moving violations
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
