Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across Virginia routes
- Inspect and maintain trucks before and after trips
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company policies
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license required (no experience necessary)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight verification and documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be 21+ years of age
