Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Load/unload cargo as required with proper handling techniques
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A or B CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Willingness to undergo paid CDL training program
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
