Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and paperwork.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients at delivery locations.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.
- Previous logistics or freight experience is a plus but not required.
