Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs, including Hours of Service (HOS) and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B is required (or willingness to obtain).
- Must possess a clean driving record and be insurable under our insurance policy.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Basic English reading and writing proficiency for logbooks and safety communication.
