Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete local/regional delivery routes within Baltimore metro area and surrounding regions
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adapt to schedule changes and communicate effectively with dispatch team
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL Permit)
- Must obtain CDL license within 90 days of hire (paid training provided)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
