Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (semi-trucks) during overnight hours (8 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods across Louisiana and Southeastern US with on-time delivery
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance documentation
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and comply with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with securement protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team for route adjustments and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- 1+ year of tractor-trailer experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic familiarity with Louisiana roadways and regional hubs
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work independently during overnight shifts
