Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles during overnight hours while adhering to all DOT regulations
- Transport freight across Virginia and neighboring states with punctual delivery
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routing and delivery schedules
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of materials at various client locations
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of Virginia roadways and regional geography
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading duties when required
- Excellent time management and communication skills
