Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on designated routes throughout Virginia Beach and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely using proper equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA) and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent DUIs or serious traffic violations.
- Ability to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and navigation systems.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
