Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers and heavy-duty vehicles on various routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all federal DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
- Basic computer literacy for digital paperwork entry.
