Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Transport freight across Texas and surrounding states with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Experience with reefers and flatbed trailers preferred
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
