Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, on designated routes throughout the Tampa Bay area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% compliance with DOT safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring all freight is properly secured and documented.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and manage delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and time management schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card) must be on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work night shifts (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and weekend availability.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork management.
