Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on assigned night routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Ensure timely delivery and pickup of freight to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding route status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and working in varying weather conditions.
