Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) during overnight shifts
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Deliver freight to designated locations across Louisiana/Texas
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment (pallet jack, forklift)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (required)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with reefers/dry van preferred
