Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes during overnight hours
- Load/unload freight with precision and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure DOT compliance and vehicle safety
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while optimizing route efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and follow all traffic regulations
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- Physical ability to handle freight loading/unloading up to 50 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- DOT medical certification current
