Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for overnight delivery routes across Texas
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Accurately document delivery logs, pre/post-trip inspections, and cargo manifests
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and priority deliveries
- Maintain clean, well-maintained vehicle appearance and operational readiness
- Provide exceptional customer service during high-stakes overnight deliveries
- Collaborate with warehouse team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HAZMAT compliance preferred
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening per federal requirements
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
