Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes during night shift hours
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams for seamless operations
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with precision and route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability and reliable transportation to Oakland terminal
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Northern California routes and traffic patterns
