Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for nighttime deliveries across Louisiana
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time deliveries in challenging weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Louisiana roadways and weather patterns
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
